Expressing his pleasure for the reason he was a guest at Belgrade Fair for, Mr. Predrag Bubalo, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services in the Government of Serbia, pointed out the Brand Fair was an increasingly important event:
- I am a witness of this event increasing, since I opened also the first Brand Fair and I am sure Belgrade Fair Hall 3 will soon be too small for all interested exhibitors. Currently, all companies taking care of their brands are gathered here and they do not understand just quality, but also diversity, compared with the others. Our objective is to have strong brands, by which we shall be recognizable and I am convinced Serbia should become a brand, as well. Creation of a national brand understands a good positioning, dynamics and including of all interested parties, those who recognize modern arts.
Mr. Milos Bugarin, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, also spoke of the importance of establishing a nice tradition, saying the brand creation was the interest of businessmen and then it was the Chamber’s interest to remain the Patron of such an event.
The president of the Foreign Investor Council, Mr. Stein Eric Whelan, said at the festive opening of the Brand Fair, Serbia was a fruitful ground for brand promotion, which explains the Council’s activities upon a persistent creation of a better business climate. Mr. Whelan also said, branding was the cornerstone of all companies and countries, since a brand is a value system promoted by a company and supported by the Government.
