- The Sailing Show is a Fair inviting to joy and, thus, I am pleased that it marks the beginning of this year’s fair season, said Mr. Andjelko Trpkovic, General Manager of Belgrade Fair, at the festive opening.
- Sailing is business for few people, for anyone else it is pleasure and I hope the visitors will feel just like that. This is an exhibition looking magnificent and it is especially interesting that, due to the technical limits, only small and medium-sized ships are exhibited. Hence, I always wonder what the big ships may look like if these small and medium-sized ones look so powerful. Visit and look what the exhibitors have prepared , enjoy it and share your experiences with others, this is the most important thing, said the Fair Director.

Mr. Slobodan Bicanin, an actor and a sailing fan since many years also confirmed that the Sailing Show should certainly be visited. The captain of the Seaport Director’s Office Belgrade, Mr. Ivan Jovanovic, who pronounced the Sailing Show open, said this event was another attempt to feel the rivers as a great wealth in the right way, pointing out that Serbia had six thousand sailing fans, a half of which being the citizens of Belgrade.
