At this year’s 13th International Horticulture Fair, the most successful exhibitors were rewarded in eight classes. The diploma for The Best Manufacturer of Dendrology Materials was awarded to the HOT HOUSE DZAMBULA from Subotica. The best Cactus and Succulent Plant Grower is Mr. Branislav Krajevic, whereas the Best Plant Material Assortment and Quality, as estimated by the jury, has got VICTORIA BOTANIC GARDEN. GARDENIA from Belgrade received the diploma for the Best Fair Arrangement. The prize for The Original Solution of the Interior Design was awarded to the same company, where for the originality in the Exterior Design, the prize was awarded to RASADNIK GRAS from Belgrade. GARDEN CENTAR from Belgrade had the Best Arranged Stand, which was not easy at all in the extremely hard competition. The diploma for The Affirmative Expression in the Landscape Architecture was awarded to the Public Communal Company ZELENILO BEOGRAD. The professional jury, consisting of Dr. Nenad Stavretovic and Dr. Mirjana Ocokoljic from the Faculty of Forestry Engineering in Belgrade, as well as Ms Dragana Gojkovic, Editor of the Magazine ‘My Beautiful Garden and Life with Flowers’ decided about the best exhibitors this year.
Another jury, in charge for estimation at the Exhibition of Medicinal Herbs and Honey Remedies NATURE GIFTS 2008, consisting of the pharmacist, Ms. Snezana Popovic and the biologist Mr. Nebojsa Noveski, awarded three diplomas. For Honey and Honey Remedies the prize was awarded to FLORA Medicinal and Decorative Herb Association from Loznica, for the Medicinal Herb Product Assortment, the prize was awarded to Sarlah, the Medicinal Herb Association from Pirot, whereas the HOST ASSOCIATION from Valjevo won the diploma for the tradition safekeeping.
Belgrade Fair also awarded the Thank-You-Letters for an extraordinary cooperation to the Patron of the event – Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry Engineering and Water Management in the Government of Serbia, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, for their support to the landscaping horticulture improvement, as well as to the students at the Faculty of Forestry Engineering, for the promotion and Education within the landscape architecture and horticulture.
