Mr. Predrag Bubalo, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services in the Government of Serbia, said for the BG CAR SHOW 02, it had a much longer tradition and that was the 46th spring in which we were following the car manufacturing industry accomplishments. Having pointed out, the Car Show was the most popular and attractive Belgrade Fair event, Mr. Bubalo said, according to the number of the sold cars, the Serbian citizen’s better standard was visible in the last few years. He wished the exhibitors a successful presentation and many signed contracts and congratulated Belgrade Fair for the sponsorship of the top sportsmen.

- We measure the results of our work by your successes and a great number of people were hired on this event, said Mr. Andjelko Trpkovic, General Manager of Belgrade Fair, addressing the exhibitors at the festive opening ceremony.
- The Car Show always attracts a great attention and it is actually the measurement of the planet’s technological improvement. I am sure, this Fair would not be so good and successful, if we did not establish numerous partnership relations and I would particularly point out the several years long contracted cooperation with the General Sponsor – Delta Generali Insurance Company.

Mr. Nebojsa Divljan, President of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Delta Generali Insurance Company, said, they would keep on sponsoring such sales events and they would attempt, as any other insurance company, providing the users with increasingly good conditions. He also pointed out, the insurance companies considered the automobile industry from a specific point of view – the safety one and warned there was no place for pleasure, since, according to such criteria, Serbia entered the critical stage.

On behalf of the sportsmen, Mr. Ivan Curkovic, President of the Serbian Olympic Committee and Mr. Andrija Prlainovic, a member of the water polo national team, thanked Belgrade Fair for the sponsorship.
