"One Vehicle – The Whole Motor Pool"

Mercedes exhibited 14 trucks from the Daimler product range and three premieres were presented at the Serbian market for the first time. One of them is Mercedes – Benz Actors Safety Truck, the vehicle sold worldwide in more than 550,000 copies, and the model displayed at Belgrade Fair is the safest truck in the world. The Mercedes model Econic NGT is the second Belgrade ‘Truck’ premiere and it is a modern vehicle, intended first of all for communal activities, using natural gas as the fuel. Unimog U20 is a traveling vehicle, a truck, a work and terrain vehicle at the same time, for which the slogan ‘One Vehicle – the Whole Motor Pool’ may rightfully be used.

From its product range of supply vehicles and vans, Mercedes – Benz displays ten models this year, among which also three premieres – Viano X-Clusive, Sprinter NGT and Sprinter 4 x 4.

An innovation is also that the sales and distribution of Mitsubishi Fuso Canter, a form part of Daimler Truck Group, begins this year.
Three models are exhibited as premieres at the BEOTRUCK 08 event – 3c 13 d, 6c 15 and 7c 15.

This probably best known representative of the automobile industry in the world explains its leading position by obeying three rules – as high safety as possible and as low waste gas emission, accomplished under permanent care of the economic aspect, the very important end users.

RENAULT

Kangoo Express – A New Supply Vehicle

Renault, the French manufacturer with confirmed quality, is present at the 46th International Commercial Vehicle Show also this year.

In the attention center at the Renault stand is the new supply vehicle, Kangoo Express. This premiere is characteristic for the cargo space volume of three, i.e. 3.5 cubic meters. It is manufactured in two versions of gasoline engine and three versions of the Turbo Diesel one.

The Premium truck, featured and recommended at Belgrade Fair, depending upon the user’s needs, may be delivered in the series with various characteristics. Thus, this truck model has got a very wide application field and its flexibility is improved also by two Turbo Diesel engines having the total of five power levels. Both engines are offered with the EURO 4 and 5 specifications, depending upon the buyers’ wishes and requirements.

CITROEN

Many Supply Vehicle Models

Vitro Group is the general agent and wholesaler of Citroen vehicles and spare parts for the markets of Serbia and Montenegro. By its devoted and professional operation, this company increases annually the market participation of its cars, so that after 2.02% in 2006, it reached 3.42% in the next year, 2007.

BEOTRUCK 08 is the event where Citroen has got two supply vehicle premieres. Berlingo is one of major premieres of this year’s event. It is a vehicle offered for the first time in two lengths, the standard and extended ones. The new dimensions caused the cargo space increase. A petrol and two Diesel generators are offered there.

The little vehicle Nemo is also very interesting among the supply ones. It has got a premiere at Belgrade Fair, as well. It is so far the smallest lightweight commercial vehicle in the offer of this French manufacturer. It is only 3.6 meters long and can carry 2.5 cu. m. of load, having the maximum weight of 610 kilograms.

Although it arrived at our market already last year, Jumpy will be officially presented for the first time at BEOTRUCK 08. It does not prevent this model from already having the title ‘The Supply Vehicle of the Year 2008’. It is manufactured in many passenger and cargo types. Thus, its capacity varies from 1,000 to 1,200 kilograms. In our country, the offer is limited to two Diesel versions. The cooling trailer type has been displayed at the Show.

VOLVO

A Modern VOLVO Center in Serbia Soon

The Volvo Truck Corporation is still the leader in the market of new heavyweight commercial vehicles in Serbia. The sales were doubled last year and more than 500 trucks, mostly the heaviest ones, were delivered to Serbia, whereas slightly more than three thousand vehicles were sold in total in the previous ten years.

Volvo used the PRESS DAY at Belgrade Fair to announce its new sales / maintenance truck center – Volvo Truck Center, the largest one of this type in the Balkans. It will be opened in Novi Banovci soon. At the same place, there will be also the representative office of Volvo Bus Corporation as well as the representatives of Volvo Financial Services. These Centers will enable the company to strengthen its position in the Serbian market and offer its customers a higher service level.

At the event BEOTRUCK 08, Volvo has got a bus and a truck premiere. The model Volvo 9700, the bus of the year 2008, is intended for long travels and meets EURO 4 standards. The truck Volvo FH 42 is intended for the transportation of heavy weights up to 20 tons, on long routs, as well.

TEMSA

The Turkish Car Brand

In addition to the bus section, the fastest developing one, TEMSA company manufactures also lightweight commercial vehicles and construction machinery. It was chosen in Turkey for the only automobile company for the TURQUALITY Program, wishing to create ten famous Turkish brands in the following 10 years.

At the moment, TEMSA is the second large independent bus manufacturer in Europe and it is famous as a company finding solutions and manufacturing bus models in accordance with the clients’ specific needs. It has two premieres at BEOTRUCK- Opalin and Tourmalin buses.

The tourist midi bus Opalin has two models, receiving 35, i.e. 31 passengers. They are comfortable and very well fitted.

Tourmalin is a suburb bus and it is present for the first time on our market. It is manufactured in two versions – 12M and 13M, without any difference in design. They are different by the luggage space capacity and the number of passenger seats.

PEUGEOT

‘Beeper’ – A Low Consumption Vehicle

The authorized importer and wholesaler of PEUGEOT vehicles is Verano Motors, operating by the highest worldwide standards and having and well developed sales showroom network all over Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The main attraction at the Verano Motors stand at this year’s 46th International Commercial Vehicle Show is certainly the new Beeper. It is a lightweight commercial vehicle with excellent characteristics. The basic model, including the customs duties and discount, without VAT, costs EUR. 8,990, whereas the price of the model displayed at the Show is EUR.11,850. An important characteristic of this vehicle is extremely low fuel consumption – in the mixed drive, it spends 4.5 liters per a hundred kilometers.

PEUGEOT has got one another premiere at BEOTRUCK, as well – the Partner vehicle. It is a new generation of this model, offered in two lengths – the standard and extended ones. The new dimensions had influence to the cargo space increase.

IVECO

Further Gaining of Serbian Market

 IVECO, the company operating, in addition to the European countries, also in China, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, as well some states of Australia and South Africa, has got 28 production plants in various parts of the world, using the latest technologies, developed in its own centers.

IVECO constructs, produces and sells to the market many lightweight, medium and heavyweight commercial vehicles, construction trucks, city, suburban and tourist buses, The program includes also multipurpose special vehicles, such as fire department or military vehicles.

At the BEOTRUCK, IVECO has got a premiere, Trucker, featured to the worldwide audience last year, and the model Active Day has been displayed at Belgrade Fair. This is a truck convenient for construction works and it satisfies EURO 4 and 5 exhaust gas regulations.

This year, special attention is drawn to the IVECO Stralis truck, known to the local publics.
