CITY BREAK 2008, a specialized international tourist event, has started today at Belgrade Fair. This specific tourist stock exchange of European cities will last till June 11 and it was conceived as a meeting point of tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotel chains, transporters and other travel industry representatives.

The CITY BREAK is a great opportunity for Belgrade to feature its extensive tourist potential and the vent importance is confirmed also by some figures – there are 174 exhibitors from 30 countries, the arrival of 120 specialized tourism buyers is expected and the meeting will be followed by more than 20 media representatives from European countries.

Belgrade will be the right host of this great and important tourist event, which will have a considerable influence upon the development and promotion of Belgrade as a City – Weekend Destination.
After the trade fair operating part, Belgrade Tourist Organization will organize for the event participants visits to the Kalemegdan, the White Royal Court, Ada Ciganlija, Skadarlija, as well as a travel to Novi Sad by the Romantika Train.

This event is a closed type business meeting, with many promotions, presentations and professional lectures. Various business meetings with the exhibitors have been scheduled, as well.
