Under the slogan ‘New Printing Tones’ , GRAFIMA takes place on a different date, but it continues the tradition of supporting the development of the graphic and paper industry in the country and the region. This year’s International Graphic and Paper Industry Fair is the jubilant 30th one and it will offer to the partners and visitors many innovations launched in May, at the prestigious graphic production show DRUPA in Düsseldorf.

- This year, GRAFIMA celebrates an important jubilee, since extremely much work and energy were put into these 30 events and many business contacts were made – said Mr. Trpkovic.
- We are doing our best to organize this event in accordance with the industry needs, it is always marked by the technology transfer and we also foster the transfer of knowledge. We try to offer always something new, to feature the worldwide innovations to the local audience. GRAFIMA has got another tradition – it has the Host of the Event every year. This year, it is FUJIFILM, the renowned manufacturer of the equipment, production materials and software for the graphic industry and it is represented by the wholesaler for Serbia, the company Bauer + Bauer.

Contemporary accomplishments in all sections of graphic product manufacturing and paper processing will be shown to the visitors at this year’s fair event. All current technologies in prepress, printing and postpress, the latest production and raw materials, visual communication, advertisement and other graphic industry products will be featured by the exhibitors. The leading worldwide brands in this industry – XANTE, AZON, COBALT, DURST, XEROX, ROLANS, SEIKO, SCREEN, AGFA, FLINT GROUP, MÜLLER MARTINI, WINDMÖLLER, etc. will promote their new products.

The most successful exhibitors will be awarded the traditional Belgrade Fair prizes, the GOLDEN, SILVER and BRONZE SEAL, also this year.

GRAFIMA will be festively opened on Wednesday, September 17, at 11.00 a. m., in the Conference Room of the Hall 14, on behalf of FUJIFILM Company, by Mr. NAOHIRO FUJITANI, Senior Vice President of the European Graphic Industry Division.

Presenting the 7th International Fair of Packaging, Machines and Equipment, Andjelko Trpkovic has said that after the four-year experience it is not difficult to conclude that Belgrade Fair has made a good move with the decision to accept an unusual offer for the cooperation with the privately-owned company A&L EXPO. The Fair has recognized the potentials of the suggested exhibitions, wishing to engage more than just providing services in renting the space for the organisation of these promising events; consequently, the Fair has actively involved in the organisation and development of these events, such as PACKTECH EXPO BALKAN.

"Talking about PACKTECH means talking about everything that surrounds us," said the Fair Manager. "All those who are engaged in the manufacturing activity, will be coming to this fair, since the aim of all manufacturers is to pack their products and send them to the market nice and protected. This is the reason why 400 companies from 30 countries will be presented at the Fair."

The International Specialised Fair of Packaging, Machines and Equipment has become the largest of its kind in Southeast Europe. Besides European and neighbouring countries, the Halls 1 and 5 will be featuring the manufacturing range of the companies from Argentina, USA, Japan and New Zealand, as well. With as many as 90 companies, the Italians keep the record number of exhibitors this year.

The Fair will be showcasing packaging machines and equipment, as well as packaging for all industrial groups, produced in all types of materials. PACKTECH is another opportunity for the Southeast European manufacturers and users in this branch to get connected in the region where the zone of free trade is being created. Special offers are being prepared for products, services and projects for foreign investors and potential partners exporting into the countries with which Serbia has the preferential customs agreement. Business delegations of European associations and countries offering loans for SME, will also be present at the Fair.

International Specialised Fair of Machines, Equipment, Raw Materials, Additives and Seasonings for Bakeries, Confectioneries and Catering CONBAK EXPO BALKAN 2008 has well established itself for the past four years in the entire region. This event is also organised by the company A&L WXPO in collaboration with Belgrade Fair, gathering 220 exhibitors from 18 countries in the Hall 2.

State-of-the-art machines, equipment, technologies, raw materials, additives and seasonings for bakeries, confectioneries, wheat products, coffee, catering, ice-cream, as well as cooling equipment, storing, transport, cleaning agents, maintenance and protection, are the part of this year's offer. The innovations in the European and World range in this branch will attract the attention of users from the country and the region, fulfilling the event's goal.

In addition to the exhibiting range, CONBAK includes numerous presentations, tasting and awards for the best products and visitors.

HYGIENE IN INDUSTRY

The International Specialised Fair of Equipment and cleaning agents in industry and business HYGEXPO is the first of its kind in the region. HYGEXPO is the part of a technology complex incorporated with the fairs PACKTECH EXPO and CONBAK EXPO. HYGEXPO has been created on request and interest of exhibitors and business visitors for completing offers in industry and business, especially in packaging, bakery, confectionery and catering.

More than 50 exhibitors from USA, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia, will be showcasing professional equipment for the maintenance of hygiene in production and business facilities in accordance with European standards. Professional chemical and other agents for cleaning and hygiene maintenance, disinfectants, protection clothing and footwear as well as other protection uniforms, accompanying items for the maintenance of hygiene in business and production facilities, will be displayed.
