Announcing these events at the festive opening, Mr. Andjelko Trpkovic, Belgrade Fair CEO, expressed his pleasure that the second part of this year’s season began by high quality events. Having pointed out, Belgrade Fair was the mutual home of all ideas, Mr. Trpkovic said the base of faith into fair events and knowledge presentation was the fact that the future would be marked just by the – knowledge. Belgrade Fair was already traditionally a meeting point of manufacturers and consumers, business partners, but also new technologies, knowledge and ideas.

The jubilant 30th GRAFIMA takes place this year under the slogan ‘New Printing Tones’ and the Event Host is the Japanese FUJIFILM Company. For this partnership, Mr. Trpkovic said he was pleased that the news on Belgrade Fair reached Japan and Mr. Terohiko Shirada, Counselor of the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade, introduced FUJIFILM as one of the most representative companies and the world leader in the graphic industry, expressing his pleasure that this company, represented in Serbia by the wholesaler Bauer + Bauer, was the GRAFIMA Host and said this event was a new motive and opportunity for getting closer to the customers.

A representative of the this year’s Event Host, Mr. Naohiro Fujitani, Senior Vice President of FUJIFILM Company European Graphic Industry Division, thanked everyone contributing to this level of the graphic industry development after three decades and said, the accomplishments were visible and he was pleased they were at present available at the Serbian market.

- The FUJIFILM determination is to contribute continuously to the printing industry development and we are assisted in it by the corporate philosophy – to use only the leading technologies, promote cultural accomplishments and, in addition to all this, to protect health and environment, said Mr. Fujitani.

In addition to the GRAFIMA, another three events have been opened today at Belgrade Fair – PACKTECH, CONBAQK and HYGEXPO. These are specialized events, organized by Belgrade Fair under cooperation with Belgrade company A & L EXPO. Announcing these events, Mr. Dejan Cvjetkovic, CD System Managing Director and a member of the Board of Directors of the Packing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturer and Importer Association, said the interest in these events was growing annually and this year’s events had for a quarter more exhibitors than three years ago. He said he was satisfied by the number of international partners, appearing in Belgrade both as exhibitors and visitors, which did not wonder, since the PACKTECH had become the greatest in the region in three years and the exhibitors were trying to show to their buyers all worldwide innovations in these branches.
