Featuring the 49th International Textile, Leather and Equipment Fair, Ms. Vesna Petrovic, Project Manager of the textile section of this event, said the presentation of production materials and equipment was focused this year and one of the event’s planned objectives was to enable the local manufacturers to meet new technologies and follow all innovations in the textile industry. Ms. Olga Tomovic, Project Manager for the leather and footwear section, said the event was a mirror of the economy and it would feature the leather processing industry, regardless of the problems they actually face. In addition to this, our market was interesting for many international exhibitors, so the visitors would have an opportunity to see leather products from various countries.

UNIJATEX is an event featuring more than 100 exhibitors, 20 of which arriving from eight countries – Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia and Macedonia.

Collections of local and international authors will be represented at the event and it is organized and divided into commodity groups. The visitors will be able to see garments, textiles, knitted fabrics, children’s clothes, underwear, yarn, accessories, as well as children’s, men’s and ladies’ footwear, leather goods and additional assortment, leather garments, leather, equipment and production materials.

At the stand of the Faculty of Applied Arts, which will be organized as a separate ambient unit, the students of the final year at the Textile Design Department will exhibit their best works. The students of the Technical Leather Design School will also present their works and workshops, practical teaching and professional meetings will be organized at their stand, as well.

A creative workshop and a sewing school will be organized at the stand of Vihor Trade company, as well.

The event will be festively opened by a collective fashion show, on Friday, October 3, at 2.00 p. m. in the Hall 1 Arena. At the same time, also on the other days, the exhibitors will feature themselves by collective fashion shows, organized by UMS – The Fashion and Marketing Creators Association, like last year.
A TOUCH OF PARIS

The first October weekend is ‘reserved’ also for A Touch of Paris – the 12th International Congress and Fair of Cosmetics, Solarium, Equipment, Wellness, Spa and Hair Care, organized by ECO Design Studio Group. This event will take place in the Hall 14, at three thousand square meters and more than 180 local and international exhibitors will feature their products and services – face and body cosmetics, cosmetic devices and hair care products, manicure and pedicure equipment, the offer for the spa and wellness centers and parapharmaceutical products.

New sections of this year’s offer are wedding dresses and equipment and the Info Show, the greatest and the most complete by its contents Web site for the cosmetics manufacturers, will be presented during the event, as well.

A Touch of Paris is an event traditionally insisting upon the constant education of all those dealing with the cosmetics and hair care. Thus, the COSMETIC AND HAIRDRESSING WORKSHOP CENTER will be organized also this year and the interested parties will be able to follow the lectures ‘Care and Prolonged Care’, as well. Within these events, the participants will feature the latest hair cutting and styling techniques, face and body care treatments, as well as the latest massage and nail adding techniques. Any professional cosmeticians and hairdressers are entitled to an active participation in the WS Center.

The organizers would like to draw special attention also to a face and body art competition, taking place on Sunday, October 5, in six categories – hand painting on face and body, hand painting of face and torso, daylight, evening, phantasm make-up and mask.
