A Medical Equipment Review

MEDIPHARM 08 – the 33rd International Fair of Equipment and Devices for Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, Dental, Laboratory and Veterinary Equipment, was festively opened at Belgrade Fair and it will last till October 11.

Announcing the MEDIPHARM as a trade fair and a meeting of people who have already gained a great knowledge, but still want to expand it, Mr. Andjelko Trpkovic, General Manager of Belgrade Fair, said he hoped this event would help them in it, as well.

- Like at any other place, MEDIPHARM is an opportunity for an exchange of experiences, to find out the novelties and I hope you will start using also what you learned here soon, just because of us. We are the host just currently, but the fact is that all of us need you, because these are some life’s rules. I would also like to thank you for enabling us annually to find out the innovations in these fields, very important for us, said Mr. Trpkovic.

Her Royal Highness the Princess Katarina Karadjordjevic announced MEDIPHARM as a great exhibition, due to the modern and high quality equipment, and expressed her hope that many important relations would be established at this event and the citizens of Serbia would have the highest benefit from them.

The event was festively pronounced open by Mr. Tomislav Stankic, the State Secretary in the Ministry of Health Care. He said health care had incredibly many problems till a few years ago – an unsettled financial situation, the old equipment, destroyed infrastructure. All problems have not been solved yet, but the situation has been rather settled, many things were reconstructed, many clinics equipped. However, medicine is a field of daily changes, so that the current events should be followed up permanently.
