- As a two million inhabitants city, Belgrade deserves an indoor space, where the inhabitants and guests of this city may ‘get ready’ for the silliest night and we wanted just Belgrade Fair Halls to be this wonderful place for entertainment and having a good time, said the Fair CEO.
- We estimated this as an opportunity for the hundreds of thousands of visitors, as many we gather annually, to enter the year 2009 happily and smiling. A contribution of the Fair and all other participants in the event organization is the unchanged ticket price, numerous entertainment  and shopping possibilities, but also an opportunity to learn something new. I can certainly say everything will be present at the Fair, from the small cars, through the turntables, up to the sharks, the real ones. This year, we have got the education and the sharks owing to the cooperation with the Natural Science Museum, it is a pilot project, but we expect it to become a part of the tradition.

Announcing the participation of the Natural Science Museum, Mr. Slavko Spasic, Managing Director of this cultural institution, said, in addition to the one hundred square meters exhibiting space, as many the Museum had got at the Kalemegdan, those one thousand Fair square meters were an enormous space. Even that would not be enough to feature all exhibits from the rich treasury of the Natural Science Museum, but many beautiful and interesting items would certainly be displayed, organized in three entireties under the title Water, Air and the Earth. The Dinosaur Exhibition, prepared by the Museum for 2009, would also be announced at the New Year’s Fair and the visitors would be able to try the interactive workshops and various quiz events, as well.

The Nomad agency, which organized the whole entertainment park, was featured by Mr. Vasa Zupanjevac. He said this year’s concept was ‘entertainment for all ages’, that all units were tested for safety and, for the same reason, the youngsters were divided from the adults, having fun under higher challenges.

The festive beginning of the 48th New Year’s Fair was announced for Thursday, December 18, at 6.00 p. m. by Mr. Miroslav Petrovic, Project Manager, when the Nomad agency would perform great fireworks.
Each event ticket is also a ticket for a drive and the event will be closed on December 30, at 8.00 p. m.

In addition to the entertainment and educational events, prepared by the Natural Science Museum, the traditional consumer goods bazaar will not be omitted this year, either. Well supplied stands with interesting things and considerable discounts were announced by Mr. Ljuba Rakocevic, Belgrade Fair Salesman.
