- It is very important for Serbia to join the developed countries very fast, those with the proved care for the human environment safekeeping, said Mr. Saša Dragin, Minister of the Human Environment Protection in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. – We have to reach the desired standards very fast, learn how to behave toward people – to protect them, rather than endanger them by ugly habits and spoiling the human environment. This Fair is important also because of showing the importance of recycling and alternative energy sources.

Speaking about the fair event importance for the exhibitors themselves, due to the business contact making, Mr. Aleksandar Popović, the Republic Minister of Mining and Energy, pointed out the transportation capacities should be strengthen in this sector, since the matter of gas supply would have to be resolved fairly soon. Mr. Popović also pointed out that one of the tasks was promotion of the energy complex and the importance of the alternative and renewable energy sources, which were not used by us in the right way so far.
