The BRAND FAIR is an event not only still taking place in such hard times, but it became the leading and prestigious one, said at the festive opening Mr. Slobodan Milosavljevic, the Minister of Trade and Services in the Government of Serbia. - This is a Fair initiating creativity and it is important for the signal it sends to the local companies – that they have to work continuously on their image and marketing, that the modern business understands the permanent progress, education and the improving quality.
On behalf of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the co-organizer of the event, Mr. Milos Bugarin, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce also spoke, having pointed out the BRAND FAIR contributed to contact establishing and a better communication between the manufacturers and consumers. He said each product was hardly to make, promote, create a name and turn it into a brand, but the product branding actually meant branding of Serbia.
In addition to the International Investors Council and the Heir to the Throne, His Royal Highness Mr. Aleksandar Karadjordjevic, who attended the opening ceremony and supported such a fair event, a special guest was Mr. Scott Bedbury, currently the most wanted worldwide lecturer within branding. Pointing out the honor and pleasure of being at the Belgrade Brand Fair, Mr. Bedbury said:
It doesn’t matter what you do, whether you are in the field of production of services, whether you work in a small company or a big corporation, what matters is there is passion, wish, spirit, readiness for innovations. This is what I found in Serbia and you have got some more characteristics important for progress and success – optimism, team work and readiness to face challenges. No matter how hard the times are, it is always the right time to build brands, said Mr. Bedbury, who entered the branding history by performing the famous concept JUST DO IT.
New products and ideas, a new conception and numerous happenings at the Brand Fair were announced also by Mr. Milivoje Radovanovic, General Director of the Mass Media International company, the event organizer. Announcing an event intended for those who were not afraid at the crisis time, those respecting both the visitors and exhibitors, Mr. Radovanovic invited the audience and professional publics to visit the BRAND FAIR and assure themselves it is an event, which became a brand itself, promoting the other brands. This is confirmed also by the fact that this year’s brand overview is taking place at a three times larger space than last year.
