- 2.2 million people die worldwide at their work annually, whereas 270 million of them are injured. The data for Serbia are also worrying – 54 workmen annually die at their work places, 966 people become heavily injured and more than 20 thousand people get so called light injuries. We have to change such statistics and take care of the work safety under the motto "Together to Zero".

The black market work has been noted as one of the most important causes of the injuries at work and the cause, due to which Serbia came to the list of the leading European countries by the death rate. The right to work, a safe one, of course, is one of the basic everyone’s human rights and its fulfilling shall become the priority task. The education and prevention are very important in the accomplishment of this objective.
An expectedly great visit to the seminar also shows this is an extremely important topic. In addition to the employers and the Union representatives, the attendees very many risk managers. The opening of such jobs itself in an increasing number of companies also shows that the prevention importance has been understood.
