Two fair events – the 12th International Horticulture Fair and the 10th International Exhibition of Medicinal Herbs and Honey Products "The Nature Gifts", will take place at Belgrade Fair on April 26 – 29, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry Engineering and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia, whereas the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce is Belgrade Fair Partner.

Announcing these events, Mr. Andjelko Trpković, General Manager of the Fair, said, both events were annually increasing and they were important for several reasons – they gathered the professionals, experiences were exchanged and the following year trends defined there.

- A support to all types of the local production and the local product and brand name affirmation are the motifs of the Ministry of Agriculture to be the General Sponsor of these events, said at the Press Conference Mr. Danilo Golubović, Secretary of State in this Ministry. – These are top quality products and they are present in Serbia also in the flower growing, honey production, fruits, vineyard and vegetable growing.

A considerable number of local and regional exhibitors will gather at Belgrade Fair within these events, featuring their products on more than 2.5 thousand square meters exhibiting space.

The organizers prepared a diverse and expansive side event program. The expert part of it will be many presentations and lectures within new technologies and trends and the competing part of the events will give them a new dimension.

Serbian agriculture secondary schools will show their knowledge and skills in flower arrangements.

The Horticulture Regional Conference will take place on the first day of the event – April 26 and its participants will be also the guests from Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

For the visitors, the event is open from 10.00 a. m. to 7.00 p. m. The single entry ticket price is RSD.250.00, for the group visits it is RSD.125.00 and it will be valid for all events, since there is also the 29th International Tourism Fair at the same time. The car parking costs RSD.60.00 per 1 hour.
