"It's not easy to be a "younger brother" and these three fairs, regardless of their importance, have always had that role, since the last week in October the Book Fair is the one which attracts greatest attention", said Andjelko Trpkovic, Belgrade Fair General Manager at the Opening Ceremony. "Since we are aware of the importnace of these events our task is to further promote them and bring them closer to public. There’s no firm which can do business without the supplies displayed at "BIRO-EXPO", and during the school process we all need additional and supporting equipment, all those small things which help describe something when we are out of words, to be exhibited by the participants of the Fair "UCILA".
General Manager has emphasized the importance of the Fair "ZVONCE", since the 21st century education has no end, only the beginning. After the formal one, contemporary education follows additionally as the continuation of the process of knowledge that never ends.
Bogoljub Lazarevic, Assistant Minister of Education, who opened the three Fairs, spoke on the lifelong education process, necessary for all of us.
"Same as the case with education, educational reforms never end, which is why the Education Fair is a large support to the Ministry of Education and undergone reforms. Education is a need, it brings us to the world as the future economy. Our goal is comprehensive education encompassing all the participants in the educational process, from the pre-school institutions and schools, to the universities, and of course Belgrade Fair, which gathers at one place all the educational institutions and supports our efforts to expand our knowledge in the best possible way.
