BUSINESS BASE has been announced at the Press Conference as the event with the aim to motivate people with entrepreneurship spirit to establish and develop small and medium business, promote the latest know-how and skills and support innovations and competitiveness.
Talking about the event at the Press Conference, Andjelko Trpkovic, Belgrade Fair General Manager, said that in a long-year-period BUSINESS BASE has had the role of exhibitors’ incubator:
"Nobody has ever made a large company at once, all successful companies have grown gradually. Many small exhibitors have first taken part at this event, it is here that they have made their first steps, learned how to exhibit and to be presented at the fair. The successful ones have gone further and now take part at the specialised fairs. The importance of this event is also reflected in stimulating and gathering institutions dealing with development and organisation of entrepreneurship, exchange of know-how and improvement of business. The fairs constantly prove that direct communication is the most important and indispensable in doing business, while everything else can be found on the Internet."
"BUSINESS BASE is a good opportunity to promote attitude of the entrepreneurs", said Goran Dzafic, Director of the Republic Agency for Development of SMEE, pointing out that presently there are 334 thousand SMEE in Serbia, which is a slight increase comparing to the previous year, with the rising trend.
European entrepreneurship network, the largest international organisation promoting and helping SME on the international level, will be presented at the Fair. Aleksandar Arsic, Project Manager in Serbia, said that the organisation possess the data on SME in 44 countries with direct connection among them through their base in Brussels.
Announcing the International Fair of Entrepreneurship, Ostoja Ilic, Project Manager said that this year the Fair has gathered the largest number of exhibitors, more than 300, occupying 5000sqm space. Economists and entrepreneurs form the country and abroad will promote their products and services, while the large systems and public sector will present their offer aimed for small and medium enterprises. Business Base will also present numerous companies, regional centres, agencies, chambers, associations, state institutions, local self-governments, institites and scientific research centres.The highlight of the event will be an action-packed Accompanying Programme with a number of seminars, promotions and presentations.

BUSINESS BASE Opening on Thursday, 26 November at 11 o'clock at the stand of the Republic Agency for SME Development in Hall 4 of the Belgrade Fair. Working hours are from 10 to 19 hours.
Price of individual tickets is 200 dinars, and tickets for group visits cost 150 dinars. Parking is paid 50 dinars per hour.
