A specialized event, keeping the tradition of food and drink preparation by the old recipes, a wealth of differences of the food products from many parts of Serbia – the ETHNIC FOOD AND DRINK FAIR was festively opened at Belgrade Fair. This fourth event takes place on November 26 – 28, at the Hall 3.
At the festive opening of the ETHNIC FOOD AND DRINK FAIR, Mr. Andjelko Trpkovic, Belgrade Fair CEO, said this was a specific fair event, important, useful and perspective:
- It will feature the local, regional and Serbian brands of various products and everyone having put his efforts, in order to attend this Fair and feature in it will, hopefully, find his partners. I also expect this Fair to expand, to become a regional one, to feature everything connecting us in the Balkans.
The event was festively opened by Mr. Stojan Jevtic, Vice President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who said the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Chambers of Commerce, the Danube Insurance and Agrobanka put their efforts to enable featuring the small manufacturers of food and drinks at this event, including 290 exhibitors from all parts of Serbia, which is twice more than last year.
- The offer at this event includes a great choice of unconventional food, which is not surprising, due to the great tradition and creativity of Serbian housewives and Serbian cuisine. The consumers have got the opportunity of meeting some new tastes and some forgotten technologies, recipes of our grandmas and housewives through history, which provides a great chance to small manufacturers in Serbia, as well. This event will, hopefully, grow annually and become itself a brand name among fair events, said Mr. Jevtic.
