Quality and Reliability Create a Brand

'Market is Market' is the motto of the 6th BRAND FAIR, the largest branding event in the Southeast Europe, festively opened at Belgrade Fair and lasting till February 13. This authentic event is organized by Mass Media International and it is planned as a series of complementary lectures, creative workshops and debates. It is an event held for the sixth time, which keeps on promoting product and service branding, continuously speaks about the brand value and gathers the local and worldwide experts in this branch.

- Reliability and a good relation to the customers are important business rules on the way to success and a strong brand creation, said Ms. Jasna Matic, Minister of Telecommunications in the Government of Serbia, at the festive opening ceremony. – Individual brands, created by our companies, are important, since at the same time, they create a good image of ours, but Serbia should be branded, as well. We have to attempt to let the former negative attitudes on us completely disappear. Serbia should be an association for creativity, healthy fruits or some other specific characteristic of ours. Brands are safe landmarks, on which the worldwide buyers rely.

That the BRAND FAIR is an event with the annually growing importance, it was confirmed also by Mr. Milos Bugarin, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who said the best proof of such an attitude was the six years long patronage and the Chamber’s active participation in this review:

- As a businessmen association we recognize the branding and market positioning importance, we support the exchange of experiences and contact making to business partners and consumers. Already since many years, we have awarded the prestigious prize The Best from Serbia, under cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services and the daily newspaper The Economic Review. This confirms that we are aware of the brand importance – the best ones, these are the ones a step in front of their competition.


Mr. Milivoje Radovanovic, President of the company Mass Media International, also spoke of the importance, role and objectives of this event:

- Brand is something creating an additional value and we believe in it, in spite of the crisis. We know only the best ones survive, which means the product and service branding is a skillful future creation. The best ones conclude a union with their consumers, having new ideas, creating new products. BRAND FAIR is a brand itself. We had to become this, in order to gather only the best ones.

A permanent partner and participant in the BRAND FAIR event is also The Danube Insurance Company. Ms. Mila Jezdimirovic, General Manager, spoke of the trumps providing a brand power to this company:

- The Danube Insurance has got the most insurance clients, the greatest insurance range, the greatest safety reserves. We have got a century and a half long tradition, we have got our clients’ trust. We are recognizable by a permanent investment, as well. A brand is not the brand if it does not develop, it has to be worked on it, since the citizens want to buy brands. ‘For Your Sake’ is our new slogan and recommendation – if would want to have a good time, you have to have a good insurance and this means you have to have the Danube Insurance policy.
