Interesting and attractive events are a common thing at the Tourism Fair, but the Olympic flame ignition certainly attracted special attention. This is an action of the Olympic Committee of Serbia, performed, in order to attract the citizens’ attention and show them in the most direct way the Olympic idea and the values carried by the Olympic movement.

The Olympic Flame was mutually ignited by Mr. Zarko Paspalj, Vice President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia and Ms. Gordana Plamenac, the Tourist Organization of Serbia CEO. The torch was brought to them by Nikola Jovovic and Dusan Petkovic, the members of our cadet volleyball national team. Before that, they had gone around the Hall 4 with the ignited torch, followed by volunteers of the OCS.
