"Let’s Work Safely and Healthy" is the topic discussed within the professional side event program of the 112 EXPO event by several Ministries and related institutions. Various aspects of this field are processed on the first and second day of the Fair and, in addition to the story on the basic problems, suggested solutions and legal regulations, the interested visitors may hear also the experiences of the employees and employers from the regional countries.

On the opening day of the International Prevention and Emergency Management Fair, in addition to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the work health and safety was discussed also by the representatives of the International Labour Organization and the World Health Organization. Special attention was paid to the Work Mobbing Prevention Law and the Volunteering Law. Employment of disabled persons is also a current topic, included in our legal regulations, as well and also the gender equity has to be provided at every work place. Ministry of Health featurede once more the Law on the Population Protection against Tobacco Smoke.

WEDNESDAY, September 15

The safety and health at work is processed from another point of view on the second event day, within the side event program and the presentations and discussions take place at 10.30 am to 3.00 pm.
In addition to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the experts of the Serbian Standardization Institute will speak about the innovations in the standardization legal regulations, as well, whereas the new accreditation legal stipulations will be featured by the Accreditation Board of Serbia. The attendees will have an opportunity also to hear good practice examples of the companies within the safety and health at work.
