The eGovernment Portal of the Republic of Serbia – www.euprava.gov.rs , its operation method, as well as protection and security of the services and posted information were presented at the International Property, Personal and Business Protection Fair.

More than 80 services are available at the eGovernment Portal, provided by many institutions – Ministry of Interior, commercial courts, National Employment Agency, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, National Library and Ministry of Education.

Issuing the residence certificate, the certificate that the person was not convicted for a corporate crime, birth certificates, unemployment certificates or reports of a criminal offense with corruption elements are just a part of the services available for citizens. So far the applications and documents may be obtained from the relevant city and municipality authorities of Belgrade, Paracin, Indjija, Kragujevac and Veliko Gradiste.

The eGovernment Portal is a project of the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Society and the Republic Institute for Information and Internet, but also many Governmental institutions and local self-management ones who published their e-services contributed to it. Under cooperation with the National Bank of Serbia, a system enabling the tax e-payment was created, as well.

In order to use these services, the citizens and companies need the qualified electronic certificate, which is an electronic replacement of the ID. So far, they are issued by the Post of Serbia, Ministry of Interior and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. An important information is also that this e-certificate may be included into the new ID with a chip. The date appointment for the e-certificate entry into the ID itself is just one of the e-services available at the Portal.
