Within the Accompanying Programme at the International Fair of Environment Protection, the National Strategy of Sustainable Development will be presented today to the visitors and participants of the event.

Also on the topic agenda is the implementation of the cleaner production and increase of energy and resource efficiency as the opportunity for greater competitiveness and sustainable industrial development. Bozidar Djelic, Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integrations, will have a word on this subject, while Ivanka Popovic, Dean of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering will present a topic on the significance of science and technology in the service of sustainable development.

The same topic will be discussed by the representatives of the Ministry of Human Environment, while the practical example will be presented by the concern Bambi-Banat a.d. showcasing its results of the cleaner production implementation. 

The Embassy of the Czech Republic, together with the Association of the Czech Businessmen, will have a detailed discussion on biomass, as a permanent source of energy. The procedures and technologies for the technical use of biomass will be presented , as well as the production of biogas from biomass.
