Speaking about the competition importance in this branch and thereby also the need to create and feature new services all the time, Mr. Trpković said, Belgrade Fair's objective was to make this event recognizable as a meeting point of professionals. In addition to the exhibitors, the professional side event program, which provides high quality visitors, will contribute to it, as well.

The Executive Director of the BANK EXPO 2007 Fair, Mr. Slobodan Perunović, spoke about the Fair efforts to develop further and improve this event:

-The decision not to charge the entry is always popular and it will certainly contribute to a better visit. The event expansion was our objective also as regarding the exhibitors and I believe the variety will be visible, compared with the previous three events. Along with our partners – the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and the Agency for the Development of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – we did our best to let as many businessmen and companies attend the BANK EXPO 2007 as possible.

That the side event program is actually the basis of this year's Fair, it was confirmed also by Ms. Olga Milicević, Project Manager:

-By its variety, the Fair adapted itself to the modern trends, so that, in addition to the banks who were the main and the largest exhibitors also before, investment funds, brokers and all other institutions creating our financial market will feature themselves there, as well.

The side event program has been divided into three units – the first two dedicated to the SMEs and the contemporary banking and the third one to the featuring of the investment funds, brokers and voluntary retirement funds.

As one of the interesting points at the Fair, announced there, there is the possibility for each citizen to check his credit capacity in the Credit Bureau, which will be presented at the stand of the Serbian Bank Association.

The BANK EXPO 2007, under participation of 55 exhibitors, takes place in Belgrade Fair HALL II, on February 26 – 28.
