Under the slogan "The Right Venue for the Furniture", 48th International Fair of Furniture, Equipment and Interior Decoration and the International Exhibition of Woodworking Machines and Tools will be held between 15th and 21st November at Belgrade Fair, as announced at the Press Conference.

Around 500 domestic and international exhibitors from Slovenia, Turkey, Croatia, Republika Srpska, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Greece, USA, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Denmark, Hungary, India and Indonesia, will have their stands in the Halls 1, 1a, 2, 3, 3a and 4.

Pointing out that despite the difficult year exhibitors have shown great interest in taking part at this prestigeous event, Branislav Krmar, Furniture Fair Department Head, said Belgrade Fair is pleased to host a significant number of foreign exhibitors:

“The fact that 150 participants are coming from foreign countries and that a great number of new exhibitors have registered , is a pleasant surprise. This can bring new quality, giving a special allure to the whole event. A good sign of the significance of this event is that the exhibition space is completely sold out, and we are positive that 48th Furniture Fair will be a successful one.”

General sponsor of the Furniture Fair is "FORMA IDEALE", domestic manufacturer, easily recognizable for the top quality functional furniture. The company will display the new 2011 collection, as well as attractive items from the range Conforma. Aleksandar Ruzeskovic, Manager of the Media and Public Relations said:

"Our promotion is held under the slogan "Fitting In" and will last during and after the Fair, until 12th December. We have the attractive and modern furniture and hopefully we shall be presented in the right way. We will display the new multi-functional systems of elements Primavera and Tramonto and we have prepared more that 100 items for the auction sale."

The Fair will be featuring the representatives of the complete furniture industry, displaying all types of furniture, from separate pieces, set furniture, office and furniture for public facilities. The Fair is the opportunity to promote interior furnishing, production trends, design and marketing.The majority of products will be sold with significant discounts, from 10% to 40%, while the visitors will be offered affordable payment methods and the catalogue sale.

The International Exhibition of Woodworking Machines, Tools and Production Materials presents the traditional exhibitors, while the visitors will be able to see the Exhibition of  Modern Design.

"Enterijer" Magazin organises "Days of Interiors", presenting various daily programmes, presentations and topics on furniture and interior design.

"This event was launched last year and we received an award for matchmaking designers and manufacturers, said Ljiljana Djurovic, editor and director of the "Enterijer" magazine . The highlight of the event is the project IDEAL HOUSE, promoting architects and domestic firms and educating the clients. A sweepstakes will be organised for the visitors with the "dream bathroom" as the main award.

Opening hours: from 10,00a.m. – 20,00p.m., except on Sunday (the last day), 21st November, when the Fair is closed at 18,00p.m.

Single tickets cost 300 din, group visits are 200 din and a car park 100 din per hour.
