The jubilant 50th NEW YEAR’S FAIR will take place on December 16 – 30, in the Halls 1, 2 and 3 and outdoors. This is an event having, in addition to the amended name – instead of the previous Market, it is the New Year’s Fair now – an amended conception, as well.

The New Year’s Fair is a show with the expansive features, a show with the slowly disappearing market function – sales of the consumer goods. Owing to various features, this event turns into a cultural/entertaining show.

As declared by Mr. Miroslav Petrovic, Department Manager, the New Year’s Fair has been divided into three basic segments and more than 200 exhibitors are located in the Halls 1, 2 and 3, depending upon their activities.

Already traditionally, the Nomad Agency is preparing an entertaining park with 33 facilities intended for any age visitors, in the Hall 1. All facilities have been tested and they are safe and the drives cost RSD.50, 100 and 150. The sports/recreational section has been planned in the Hall 2, C level, where the Adventure sports organization will install the Adventure Park. At two thousand square meters, the visitors will be able to try 11 attractive sports features.

A part of the Hall 1, then the Halls 1A and 2, A Level, are ‘reserved’ for the so called market section – sales of the consumer goods. At this space, the exhibitors will sell various goods at very good prices, under great discounts, from decorations, snacks, through garments and gifts, up to books, which is an innovation at this year’s show.

At the New Year’s Fair, nine museums will feature the most attractive exhibits from their exhibitions in the Hall 3, under the slogan ‘Museums are Always In’. This year’s participants are the Military Museum, Natural Sciences Museum, Ethnographic Museum, the RTS Museum, The Science and Technique Museum, the Car Museum, The Serbian Railways Museum, The Theater Arts Museum and the Cultural Center of Gornji Milanovac, featuring painting miniatures.

SERVICE INFORMATION

The New Year’s Fair festive opening, with spectacular fireworks, is on Thursday, December 16, at 6.00 pm, opposite to the Hall 2, toward the river Sava bank. A welcoming drink – boiled wine and brandy – will be prepared for the visitors.

The event is opened for the visitors on week days from 1.00 – 8.00 pm, whereas the entertainment begins at 10.00 am on Saturdays and Sundays.

The entry tickets cost RSD. 200.00. On the week days they are valid as the tickets for a single drive in the Hall1. The car parking shall be paid RSD. 50.00 / 1 hour.
