BEO WINE FAIR 2011 – International Wine Fair will take place on February 24 – 27, at Belgrade Fair Hall 2, B Level, it was announced at the press conference in the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce. This second successive review is organized by Belgrade Fair under cooperation with the Vine Growers and Wine Producers Association VIVIS and the Serbian Wine company.

The Wine Fair gathers most prominent local and many international wine and equipment producers, vine growers, wine cellars and bars, wineries and wine companies. 105 exhibitors from Serbia, Italy, France, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Argentina, Chile, South Africa and other countries famous for their developed vine growing  and top quality wines, participate in this year’s event, which became the largest one of this type in the region.

The Tourism Organization of Serbia will be the host of a special stand devoted to the wine tourism and manufacturers of wine bottles, glasses, barrels and other equipment necessary for high quality wine production, storing and distribution, will display their exhibits, as well.

The Beo Wine Challenge Cup 2011 will also be held within the Wine Fair, estimating the wine quality per categories. An international jury, consisting of representatives of Slovakia, Russia, Macedonia and Croatia, will decide about the best wine.

The event opening hours on Thursday, February 24, are from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, on Friday and Saturday the opening hours are from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm and on Sunday, February 27, the Fair is open for visitors from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Single entry tickets cost RSD.300.00 and the group ones RSD.200.00 each. The entry tickets and gate passes valid for the International Tourism Fair, taking place at the same time, are valid also for the BEO WINE FAIR.
