Serbia at the 88th Place as regarding Tourism Competitiveness

The revision of the National Tourism Development Strategy has been featured at the Tourism Fair. The revision understands further development of the tourism capacities in Serbia, as well as the networks of national and local partners.

From the total of 133 tourism countries, Serbia takes the 88th position as regarding its competitiveness. One of the ways to improve this parameter and to develop the local tourism offer are planned trainings for 170 candidates, starting middle of March. In addition to this single action, the training center development has been planned, as well.

The National Tourism Development Corporation attempts to attract as many investors to Serbia as possible and to realize as many of the 60 prepared investment projects as possible, explained Mr. Rafael Pupovac the Corporation CEO and Mr. Goran Petkovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics and Regional Development, said the overwhelming impression is that the strategy provided good results so far, although there were no direct confirmations of that.
