There are many reasons for which Croatia, this year’s Partner Country at the Tourism Fair, should be the destination for Serbian tourists to select while deciding about their summer holidays, say the tourism industry representatives of this country. The vicinity is a very important criterion, since it is not irrelevant to be at "the most beautiful coast in the world", as the Croatians like to point out, in about fifty minutes. The direct flight contracts with some cities have already been signed and the cooperation will be further intensified by the tourist season beginning. The attractiveness, beauty, diverse offer, the selection opportunity among far away famous seaside resorts and summer holidays at some of the 1244 islands, the famous spirit and mentality, an extensive history, tradition and gastronomic specialties are additional "arguments" to do so. Simply saying – "so beautiful and so close". In these crisis years, the prices are certainly not a neglectable criterion, but the tourism staff made sure that the offer includes something for everyone – from cheap apartment summer holidays to the staying in the most exclusive five star hotels.

The Croatian National Tourist Board, the relevant Ministry and many travel agencies and Organizations did their best to feature the most of their offers at Belgrade Tourism Fair or at least to accomplish and leave the contacts for subsequent cooperation.
