Montenegro adapted its tourism offer to the circumstances this year, more precisely to the economic situation in the country and region. A night in the standard private accommodation for six Euros a day is the basis of this offer and The Calling Sea action understands seven day arrangements in the private accommodation, but also two and three star hotels, at the price of 42 to 74 Euros, depending upon the date. The tourism staff decided to launch such offer due to the evaluation that most tourists going for the summer holiday with the idea of not spending a lot of money are expected this year.

Serbian tourists are traditionally a third of the total number of tourists of 1.8 million nights. Their number has not been reduced after the visa liberalization, either, since the Serbs are used to spending their summer holidays in Montenegro, where they feel at home.

In winter and for the New Year’s Eve, Serbian tourists visit also the mountains of Montenegro, which became an interesting destination also for active rest, rafting, environment, rural and adventure tourism. The convention tourism is developing in this country, as well and it has been estimated it would be interesting also for the Serbian market.
