One of the most important events within the professional Side Event Program at the Building Trade Fair this year is he Energy Efficiency Conference. This expert meeting takes place on the second event day – April 13, under the title "Sustainable Green Energy Day". The Conference organizing Belgrade Fair partners are the Energy Efficiency Agency of the Republic of Serbia and German businessmen, participants in the Building Trade Fair.

The Conference objective is the consciousness strengthening on the energy saving need and the presentation of realistic opportunities for the energy saving in the house building. This theme’s importance is shown also by the fact that the Government of the Republic of Serbia pronounced this year the Energy Efficiency Year and the whole this week – April 11 – 15, is marked all over Europe as the "Sustainable Green Week". Holding the Energy Efficiency Conference, the SEEBBE, Belgrade Fair and Serbia joined many activities, promoting the accomplishments in this branch all over Europe.

The experts will attempt at the Conference to answer the main question – how to spend as little energy as possible and yet have the same living and business conditions and they will also show many saving methods. A presentation of eight expert lectures has been planned, as well.
