The fair event season and accomplishment featuring in various branches of the local and world economy at Belgrade Fair begins next week, it was announced at the Press Conference. With a brief reminder of the event to be held by the end of the year, an event cocktail held on September 21 – 24 was especially presented.

In addition to GRAFIMA – 33rd International Graphic and Paper Industry Fair and the 19th International IT and Office Equipment Fair – BIRO-EXPO, another three events are held at the same time, organized by A&L Expo, under cooperation with Belgrade Fair. These are the 10th International Packaging, Packing Machinery and Equipment Fair PACKTECH EXPO BALKAN, the 7th International Fair of Bakery, Pastry Shop and Catering Machinery, Equipment and Raw Materials CONBAK EXPO BALKAN and the 3rd International Fair of Technologies for Fruits and Vegetables Growing, Processing and Storing FRUVEG EXPO BALKAN.

More than 520 companies will feature their products and services at these five events, almost a half of them the international exhibitors, coming from about thirty European and worldwide countries. They will promote their products, achievements and innovations in the relevant branches in the Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Speaking about the GRAFIMA, an event having a tradition longer than

three decades, Mr. Misa Cugurovic, President of the Organization Board, said the Fair would be held under the slogan ‘Lacquered’ this year and represent a successful link of the digital era and Guttenberg’s print:

- GRAFIMA will be the leading printing industry event in the region also this year, a unique show products and ideas. The exhibitors will present the latest achievements in this branch, technological innovations and we shall celebrate many jubilees, as well. The graphic industry belongs to the category of the creative ones. Thus, we shall also organize a public discussion, for which we believe it will help us finding solutions how to modernize the GRAFIMA and yet not loose its creativity or pace with the new technologies.

The Host of the 33rd GRAFIMA is the Japanese MIMAKI company, a famous and recognized worldwide brand in this industry. Mr. Vladimir Milakovic spoke about this digital printing machinery manufacturer, represented by Belgrade’s company Sitotehnika:

- MIMAKI is an international company, seated in Tokyo, developing high speed and quality printing machinery, meeting at the same time market requirements. It offers its consumers three latest technological solutions – solvent, digital industrial textile and UV printing. Rigorous requirements of this company are met and represented at the Serbian market by a company having twenty years of experience, the Belgrade’s Sitotehnika.

BIRO-EXPO, the International IT and Office Equipment Fair is organized, upon the exhibitors’ requirement, at the same time as the GRAFIMA also this year, due to the similar activities. The Fair visitors will have the opportunity to see the latest equipment and stationery necessary for office and business space furnishing. The event is organized in the Hall 4 and the exhibitors are manufacturers, importers, agents and wholesalers of office equipment, stationery, multifunctional office machinery, computers and business goods, as well as service providing craftsmen companies.

Three specialized events, organized by A&L Expo, are held also this year, having attracted great attention of the trade audience and visitors since their founding.

Various packing machinery and equipment will be displayed at PACKTECH, intended for all industrial branches. The offer will include also packaging produced from different materials, as well as packaging production materials. In addition to the transportation packaging, the visitors will be able to see also the one used in all industries, then decorative, i.e. gift packing packaging. Special attention is paid to design and graphic layout.

CONBAK has also gathered many manufacturers and dealers of machinery, equipment, technologies, additives and spices. Their offer will especially attract attention of bakers, pastry shop owners, catering staff, ice cream and corn product manufacturers. Beside the cooling devices, supermarket, pastry shop and bakery equipment, cleaning, maintenance and protection remedies, the visitors will be able to see also various storing and transportation methods for various goods.

FRUVEG, the Specialized Fair for Fruits and Vegetables Processing Technologies, will host all manufacturers and processing staff of these food products.
