The Society of Plastics and Rubber Engineers – IPG, organizes a Meeting of Plastic Packaging Experts within the PACKTECH, on Thursday, September 22. This specialized seminar is prepared by them under cooperation with Belgrade Fair and A&L Expo company and the project realization was supported by the Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia. The topic is Environment Sustainable Plastic Packaging and Waste – Problems and Possible Solutions.

The seminar processes several topics: Biological and Biodegradable Plastic Compounds – The Present Situation and Trends, Biomaterials and Plastic Packaging Industry, Technology of Controlled Duration Plastic Materials, Experiences and Featuring of the Oxide/Biodegradable Additive System, The seminar participants feature also the waste management regulations in Croatia, as well as the method of determining the plastic bag decomposition grade. The activities of the Serbian Standardizing Institute within environment friendly plastic materials will be presented to the visitors, as well. A special section of the seminar is presentation of the situation and trends within plastic packaging and packaging waste.
