The Accompanying Programme of ECOFAIR, an important part of the specialised events at Belgrade Fair, is featuring a scientific gathering „ Sustainable production and consumption and green economy – an opportunity for sustainable development“. Gathering is organised by the Prime Minister Cabinet for European Integrations, Belgrade Fair, Ministry for Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning and Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The major topics to be on the agenda cover the legal framework for the support of sustainable development, consumption and development of green economy, development of private- public patnership in this branch, the significance of scientific and technological innovations, sustainable and responsible management – IKEA experience.

An important segment of the gathering is dedicated to innovations, possibilities for development of green economy in rural areas, as well as women’s entrepreneurship in green economy. Further steps in development of green economy and sustainable development will be presented to the participants.
