– One of the priority tasks of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia is keeping the security, peace and happiness of the youngest population, said Mr. Ivica Dačić, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior, at the festive opening of the 8^th CHILDREN'S FAIR. – I am happy that this event has got tradition, that it is a real 'oasis for children and parents' and I want the youngsters to find friends and be happy in it.

The festive opening of the Children's Fair was attended also by His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to Belgrade, Mr. Toshio Tsunozaki, and representatives of the most important sport institutions, the National Olympic Committee and the Sports Association of Serbia. Their representatives, Ms. Zorana Arunović and Mr. Dane Korica, pointed out the importance of sports in the children’s life.

The event features many exhibitors and various associations dealing with the children's age up to 10. The youngsters may enjoy songs and dances on the stage, activities on the sport ground, an artificial rock, play room, friendship with the Serbian Knights from Svibor, Mr. Minja Subota, representatives of the traffic police, fire brigade and gendarmes.

Valuable prizes of the Brestill company are awaiting the visitors, as well. The Children Summer Resorts Center will present to a family free seven day staying on Tara mountain, Alkaloid Skopje Becutan will distribute 500 free packages with the Becutan products daily from 3.00 to 4.00 pm.
