Under the sounds of the students’ hymn Gaudeamus Igitur and the attendance of many pupils of all ages, Mr. Žarko Obradović, Minister of Education, pronounced the School Day at Book Fair pronounced:

- Book reading is a bridge by which cooperation is established  among peoples and nations. For us in Serbia, the Book Fair is an opportunity to see in eight days everything our culture has got, but also what is offered by others, since this is the best way to meet them and establish connections to them, said the Minister.

Belgrade Fair was visited in an organized way by pupils from many schools in Serbia and the publishers met them with especially prepared interesting educational programs.
