The 26th International Fair of Winter Sport Equipment, Tourism and Recreation will be held on December 8 - 11. More than 60 exhibitors participate in this event this year, traditionally marking the beginning of the winter tourism season in Serbia. The largest importers and manufacturers of the winter sport equipment, the agents of the best known worldwide brands, winter tourism and skiing centers, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, spas and other destinations will feature at 3,500 square meters. A special section of this event are the used sport equipment exchange and repairs. Under the high auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Belgrade Fair organizes this event under cooperation with the Association Sport for All Serbia. At the 26th EXPO-ZIM, Ski Resorts of Serbia witll feature the united offer of the best known local ski centers – Kopaonik, Zlatibor and Stara Planina and the event visitors may also get the ten percent discount to the ski pass price for the forthcoming season. The 10 – 15% discounts have been prepared also by travel agencies and sport equipment manufacturers. Seven largest Slovenian Ski Centers will mutually feature under the name ACTIVE SLOVENIA at the EXPO-ZIM – Krvavec, Rogle & Terme Zreče, Kranjska Gora, Pohorje, Golte, Stari Vrh and Cerkno. The visitors will have an opportunity to see the offers of French and Bulgarian winter and ski centers, as well. Within the side event program, many lectures, public discussion panels and discussions will be organized. Among others, the visitors may attend the professional public discussion panel on the environment dimension of projects in sports, recreation and tourism, the lectures about trekking tours through Serbia, the National Park Tara in the environment projects, the rowing tour On the Danube through Serbia, the environment recreation camp Perućac, the trekking and speed tours of Valjevo and Jahorina as a pure environment mountain. A charity action of collecting used skiing equipment for the participants of the Children Winter Festival on Tara will also be organized during the event. Many concerts and entertainment programs will be held in the Hall 4 daily, under participation of famous rock bands, sportsmen, artists and other public life personalities.

The EXPO-ZIM festive opening is on Thursday, December 8, at 12.00 pm (noon) in Belgrade Fair 4. The Fair will be opened by Ms. Snežana Samardžić Marković, Minister of Youth and Sport in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Individual entry tickets cost RSD. 300.00 and the group visit ones RSD. 150.00. The opening hours are from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. |
