The First Sports Economics Fair was held on December 8 at Belgrade Fair, where the experts in this branch tried to answer some important questions – What are the prospect media and commercial financial resources generated by sports, what types of corporate sponsorship investment models exist and what are the worldwide infrastructure investment models?

The sports economics is considered one of the fastest growing branches of the worldwide economy, whereas it is actually in its infancy in Serbia, which should be changed already this year, after adopting of the relevant laws, it was concluded at this event.

– Sports incomes are not neglectible and this conference is a good opportunity to focus the possibilities of improving them additionally, says Mr. Željko Pantić, CEO of the Danas Conference Center. – The international investors arrival initiated linking of the regulation authorities’ representatives, sports associations and business publics representatives. During the global economic crisis, the sports economics is one of the rare economy branches with the income growth and Serbia should use this opportunity, as well. The Second Sports Economics Fair is planned for December 5, 2012, at Belgrade Fair and this event should become a traditional one – held annually in the first December week.
