Everything is ready at Belgrade Fair for one of the most prestigious events – Tourism Fair, an event starting in two weeks and takes place on February 23 – 26.

Under the slogan ‘A Travel Around the World in 4 Days!’, almost 900 exhibitors will feature there. The great interest for this most important tourism show in the region caused also some organizational changes. The usual space for travel agencies became ‘too tight’. Thus, they will feature their offers also in the Hall 3 this year. It is also interesting that the crisis, which impacts in various ways business events in the whole world, did not influence very much this part of economy, since three new countries participate in the Tourism Fair, as well – Germany, Israel and the Czech Republic.

Germany will feature its travel potentials and offer for the first time and Ms. Petra Hedorfer, CEO of the German National Tourist Board and the President of the European Travel Commission, will also be within the delegation to visit Belgrade.

Within the Belgrade Tourism Fair, there will be also the international conference ‘Sustainable Development of Rural Tourism’. The Chairman will be Mr. Taleb Riffai, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization. Representatives of the tourism industry of Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Montenegro will discuss rural tourism in the regional countries, the trends and chances of the Balkans in this branch.

At the same time as the Tourism Fair, another two important events will be held at Belgrade Fair – HORECA and Wine Fair.

HORECA

The International Hotel/Restaurant equipment – HORECA takes place with a good reason at the same time as the Tourism Fair. By the system ‘Everything at One Place’, the exhibitors will offer to the representatives of tourism industry everything they need for the normal operation and furnishing of the hotel/restaurant facilities. Also this event, the 8th one, will gather many local and international companies manufacturing and selling the hotel and restaurant furniture; kitchen, restaurant and bar equipment; bed sheet and towel distributors; cleaning machines.
